Email migration to Office 365

Over the next few weeks, all the mailboxes (email accounts) at St Martins Lutheran College will be moved from our onsite Exchange server to our Office 365 tenancy in the cloud. For the most part, the emails will operate exactly the same as you are used to.

User Group Migration Windows Dates
Year 5 and 6 Students 12th to the 14th of June
Year 7, 8 and 9 Students 17th to the 21st of June
Year 10 and 11 Students 24th to the 28th of June
Year 12 Students and Staff 1st to the 5th of July

What will change?

There will be a few changes after the migration, such as the URL that you use to access webmail and some updated cosmetic changes to the webmail application though it will still feel like the old webmail you are used to. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us in the IT Office.

The webmail URL

The URL to access the webmail will be changed from 'https://webmail.stmartins.sa.edu.au' to 'https://outlook.office365.com'. The Intranet has been updated to reflect these changes to allow access to both links while the migration is in process.

When will I need to use the new URL?

At some point during the migration window for your User Group, you mailbox will be migrated to Office 365. When logging into the Webmail using the old link you will receive a message like the following example. From this point on you need to use the new Webmail (O365) button to get to your emails.
